Cape Coast Castle stands as one of the most significant historical sites in the world. Elmina, founded in 1482, is the oldest European building in sub-Saharan Africa. Kakum's canopy walkway puts you 30 metres above a pristine rainforest.

    Early departure from Accra. The drive to Cape Coast is approximately 3 hours. Light breakfast provided en route.

    9:30 AM — Cape Coast Castle

    Guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Door of No Return, dungeons, and the rooftop views over the Atlantic. Allow 1.5 hours.

    11:30 AM — Elmina Castle

    A short drive to Elmina — the oldest European structure in sub-Saharan Africa. Another UNESCO site, with a distinct history from Cape Coast.

    Lunch at a local Cape Coast restaurant. Fresh seafood and Ghanaian staples overlooking the fishing harbour.

    2:30 PM — Kakum Canopy Walkway

    Drive into the national park and walk the famous suspended walkway 30m above the forest floor. Incredible wildlife and views.

    4:30 PM — Beach Relaxation

    Wind down at a quiet beach near Cape Coast. Swimming, coconuts, and the kind of silence only the Atlantic coast offers.

    6:00 PM — Return to Accra

    Depart Cape Coast. Arrive Accra approximately 9:00–9:30 PM depending on traffic. Overnight option available — ask when booking.
