Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Trexplora. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the platform.

Trexplora is available globally. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with all applicable local laws and regulations.

2. Your Account

To access core features of Trexplora, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Trexplora only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from Trexplora without our express written permission
• Use the platform to send unsolicited messages or spam
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the platform's normal operation

4. User-Generated Content

Trexplora allows you to post content including photos, check-ins, comments, and posts ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you:

• Confirm you own or have the right to share that content
• Grant Trexplora a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform
• Accept sole responsibility for the content you post

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to the community, without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Trexplora — including but not limited to the app design, logos, graphics, text, and underlying code — are the exclusive property of Trexplora Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Trexplora content without our express written consent.

6. Location Services

Certain features of Trexplora require access to your device's location. By enabling location services, you consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disable location access at any time in your device settings, though this may limit certain app features.

7. Campus Vibe and Social Features

Trexplora includes social features such as Footprint posts, follows, likes, and GPS check-ins, as well as a Campus Vibe mode for university communities. These features are designed for genuine community interaction. Abuse of these features — including fake check-ins, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or harassment of other users — may result in account suspension.

8. Disclaimers

Trexplora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trexplora Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Trexplora at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Trexplora after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Trexplora shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
